Subtlety for Abbey Medieval Banquet

A subtlety in Medieval times was a large sculpture, often edible, either placed atop a dish or served as a dish at banquets thrown by the wealthy. Though not edible, this subtlety made in collaboration with Edentech Creative for the Abbey Medieval Banquet (given by the Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology) is an example of the type of showing-off a medieval lord might have done to impress his guests.
